White Bean Cheezy Hummus

Whilst hummus is traditionally made using chickpeas we think that this recipe, using white beans, makes for a different level of lightness and creaminess. The nooch gives it a delicious cheezy, umami flavour.

Recipe tip: You can use this as a dip or add it to sandwiches, bagels and for a snack on toast. Check our other dips too!

 

What you’ll need:

  • 1 x 400g tin of cannellini beans

  • 2 tbsp of our nutritional yeast (or nooch)

  • A few glugs of olive oil

  • Seasoning to taste

How to do it:

  1. Very simple – empty the whole can of beans into a liquidiser.

  2. Add all the other ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy. Check the seasoning to taste and add more if you feel necessary.

  3. You can sprinkle more nooch on top to serve or just spread over your favourite bread.
