The origins of Popcorn Plus
When Marigold was looking to find a means to demonstrate the delicious cheesy flavour of its Engevita® Nutritional Yeast Flakes at a national trade show, the idea of creating small bags of popcorn sprinkled with the product seemed to offer a good solution. The experiment proved so popular that people kept returning to the Marigold stand for more single serve samples. This was the genesis of Marigold Popcorn Plus.
Bouillon and all things golden
The Marigold brand has, at its core, this much-loved fine range of vegetable bouillon powders and has been supplying grocery and health food stores for over forty years. It has certainly proved to have stood the test of time.
Exploring the Far East: Braised Tofu and Plant-Based Meat & Fish
Legend has it that in ancient times Buddhist monks in China considered it an art form to create plant-based products which mimic meat and fish. Back in the nineties, Marigold was introduced to a Taiwanese artisan producer of vegan soya products which still fulfilled this promise.
